London Healthcare Innovation Forum
Healthcare is slowly adopting, and innovation is rapidly evolving. The London Healthcare Innovation Forum brings together experts across regulation, policy, industry and clinical practice to bridge industry languages.
The London Healthcare Innovation Forum gathers leaders from healthcare, industry, and policymakers to collaboratively address today's complex healthcare challenges and explore solutions that enhance care quality, resilience, and accessibility — creating a multidisciplinary community of growth to bridge industry languages.
The challenge we're addressing
Healthcare is slowly adopting, and innovation is rapidly evolving. How can we align an industry that is rapidly evolving new innovation with a slowly adopting healthcare system?
- How do healthcare professionals translate to industry what the real problems are and how to adopt the solutions we need?
- How can government, policy-making, and regulatory processes improve to aid the adoption of emerging technologies?
A different kind of forum
Many forums are conducted by experts to provide answers to questions and present solutions — panelists as experts, participants as non-experts. The London Healthcare Innovation Forum brings together experts in all domains, providing a bottom-up and top-down view — from regulatory process, policy-making, entrepreneurs, investors, and boots-on-the-ground experience — to learn how to bridge industry language and leverage emerging technologies to improve patient health, economic vitality, and healthcare system resilience.
How it works
In order to understand these questions and deliver optimal solutions, we need to bridge industry languages and invite collaboration. Often a problem in one domain has a solution lingering in another. The Forum is a unique opportunity where everyone is an expert, and we're challenging the conversation to translate between each industry — to learn what the right questions are and how to create a Community of Interest to enact change moving forward.
This is the second event of its kind, inspired by Advancing Healthcare Through Innovative Technologies hosted by the Medical University of Gdańsk and facilitated by RRSP Industries, with co-organizers including Dr. Edward Griffor (NIST), Dr Rodrigo Rodriguez-Fernandez (WHO faculty), Mikołaj Frankiewicz (Medical University of Gdańsk), Dr. Zain Khalpey (Khalpey AI Lab), Alex Grzeska (Universitätsspital Zürich), and many more.
